The 1st to 3rd October, 2010, sees the return of the largest commercial Art Fair in North East England to the Sage Gateshead. This modern building, destined to be an icon in the not too distant future, is to become the permanent home for this annual fair.

For the fourth year running, the Newcastle Gateshead Art Fair will showcase a diverse range of unique artworks from Northern, National and International galleries. Pieces of art can be found in a number of media: from paintings to photographs, sculpture to ceramics and glass will be showcased and can be purchased directly from the galleries at the fair. Prices of artworks will range from less than £100 up towards several £1000’s.
With over 9,000 visitors in 2009, the Fair was an extremely successful fair with a diverse selection of art to suit all tastes from one end of the scale to the other. The entire project was considered by visitors to be exhilarating and it was amazing to see such an enormous range of affordable art works. One of the best art fairs outside London.
